With prices rising on most everything that we need to maintain our quality of life doesn't it to make sense to spend our dollars on eco-friendly food and other products? It also makes a great deal of sense to also support businesses that run their operations in an environmentally friendly way as well. Contributing to the new green revolution is not as difficult as it was a few years ago either-even the big chain stores are now stocking a variety of green products. Of course, there are a few companies that have simply changed the text on their labels and have added the word 'natural' or added a bit of green color- so beware and read the back of the labels and study the ingredients. If you can't pronounce them, it's best to look for an alternative. Even cleaning product ingredients shouldn't include hard to pronounce chemical names. Just be smart, read, and choose products that have familiar ingredients that you know won't harm your family's health or the environment.
