Reflexology is the unique alternative medicine that utilizes the hands and feet. As it stands, there is no agreement among reflexologists on just how the art is supposed to work, but no matter because the end results speak for themselves. Massaging different zones in the feet has the ability to unblock some 7,200 nerve endings in each foot so that they can respond all to all of the organs, glands, and other parts of the body while also improving blood flow. This also relieves tension and does promote the natural function of the related areas of the body. Soreness from working, built up stress, and even arthritis are soothed and often healed through this art. As usual, many medical professionals discount reflexology as more pseudoscience, but for those that have partaken in this art, they say different.
