All of us in the world of holistic healing have as a goal greater health with lower invasive impact. For your female clients this must include instruction on Breast health via self exam of the breast tissue. If you are a male practitioner it is recommended that rather than physically showing your client, you instead show them an instructional video and be available to answer questions, or have a female assistant available to give personalized instruction as a follow-up to the video.

Increasingly, breast thermography is showing itself to be preferable to traditional mammography, as mammography in itself poses a health risk to the breasts. Be sure to tell your clients about this newer technique. Inform them that the earlier they start, the more reliable their base results will be. This is important for more reliably showing any changes that may develop later. Self exams, and breast thermography, two great tools to teach your clients for maintaining good breast health.
