I went through the danger zone

Routines are important for everybody. We create them in an attempt to get comfortable in doing the things that we do. Think about it… there are certain ways that we fold clothes, how we put food into the refrigerator, way we drive to work, and so on. The point of all of that is that we do it that way because we know that it works. While it is good to have a routine, these can also be detrimental in that people are often afraid or apprehensive to try new things. One way to combat this is for you to try something new, to slowly bring yourself out of your protective shell. Change up your daily routine so that you are willing to be adventurous. Perhaps fold shirts a different way, or have your spouse cook while you take out the trash. Maybe even brush your teeth before the shower. As you slowly make changes to your daily routine, new things do not seem so intimidating and therefore, you open yourself up to millions of possibilities, and in doing so, will make you a better person.
