The European Union is in the process of laying down the law for safety in terms of electric cars. The EU will be outlining the major points- such as preventing electric shocks, insuring adequate insulation and protecting people from a buildup of toxic gases, as well as developing a standard safety label. These safety standards are especially important in countries where a large percentage of the population is moving towards greener modes of transportation.
