Some people believe that you can meditate to heal yourself rather than take medicines that are created by companies only out to get your money. With the mindset that your body can heal itself over time, people tend to push this envelope in ways that can either work wonders or be completely detrimental to their bodies. Meditation allows you to drown out all the ambient noise and focus on your inner self to locate and heal yourself.
By channeling positive energy, relaxing the mind, fueling the muscles to heal themselves, and slowing the heart rate enough to have the body work on itself, fixing injuries does have the potential to work. Whether or not it completely fixes the injury or not is completely speculation, but just as most holistic practices are disregarded by medical doctors and such, only time will tell if it works or not. But those who meditate feel that this practice offers more than typical over the counter medicines and because of that, they will stick by it.
