Viruses are not just for people anymore
Since programming became something that could be learned, many have flocked to the skill in hopes to master the computer. Not surprisingly enough, some people were tempted by the dark side of programming and put their efforts into making computer viruses. Some viruses are simple programs that are just used to toy around with your hard drive, while others are out to gain control of your pc itself through remote access. There are even viruses out there that will erase your hard drive completely and leave you guessing what happened. The problem is that your computer is never 100% secure as long as it is connected to the internet. Virus programmers have gotten smart and can mask the virus as a data packet so that the firewall doesn’t kick it out. Even more devious are the emails that are sent by random fake addresses that contain viruses. It’s a wonder how far someone will go to ruin someone’s computer.
